Ryan is an elite Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist with over 26 years of experience diagnosing, rehabilitating, and preventing injuries to a wide variety of people. Ryan approaches the services he provides through a highly detailed and analytical lens. He breaks down movement dysfunctions at their root cause rather than just treating the symptoms. This makes him the go-to clinician for individuals looking to overcome chronic pain or acute injuries, both non-surgical and surgical, and return to peak physical activity safely and efficiently.
When patients choose Ryan for his services, they benefit from an advanced toolkit honed at the highest levels of human performance. Ryan delivers highly targeted, hands-on manual therapies to accelerate tissue healing, restore joint mobility, and eliminate movement compensations. His coaching abilities and clinical instincts have been trusted by everyone from industrial professionals managing workplace safety to pit crews and drivers in IndyCar racing and world-class collegiate and pro athletes.
Ryan’s elite clinical pedigree involves 18 years in collegiate athletics, including serving for over a decade as the Director of Sports Medicine at Butler University. At Butler, he managed health care needs for 500 athletes in 20 sports. He also anchored medical coverage as Athletic Trainer for the baseball, football and men’s and women’s basketball teams for a total of 15 years—highlighted by being a part of the legendary back-to-back NCAA Final Four and National Championship game appearances in 2010 and 2011 for the men’s basketball team. Inducted into the Butler University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021 as the Athletic Trainer for those final four teams, Ryan brings that exact same championship-caliber diagnostic precision, advanced rehabilitation programming, and deeply individualized services to everyone who comes to see him.
